EB Audio JB-1
Two way Bookshelf Loudspeaker
The EBAudio Jules JB-1 is my most recently completed speaker.  The cabinets are a beatiful piano gloss black, purchased from Parts Express.  They have excellent internal bracing and solid MDF walls.  The drivers that were used are from Vifa, the PL18 7" 4ohm woofer and the XT25 1" ring radiator tweeter.  The crossovers are a simple 2-way Linkwitz-Riley with a zobel and an LCR conjugate to help tame the drivers.  Target crossover point is 2700hz at 12db/octave.  The crossover were designed by me, with some input from Keith Kidder regarding the LCR for the XT25.
The cabinets are ported (Fb=50hz) using a 2"x6"  rear mounted port.  Bass output is suprisingly strong.  Frequency response will be measure anechoically when I have the chance to do so.
The crossovers utilize Solen, Dayton and Jantzen components.  The high and low pass circuits are seperate, allowing for bi-amp capability.  The boards have undergone a slight change from the picture to include the newer LCR circuits for the XT25's.
